This coffee was produced by Kinini in conjunction with 421 small holders from the communities of Kunda Kawa Kabuye, Rusiga Cooperative, Murwintare of Women's Association in Coffee. The farmers were paid a living wage to cultivate our new Rwanda Coffees. Through this partnership we hope to give these farmers access to our global supply chain and improve their lives. In 2013, with the help of Kinini, the farmers began planting coffee seedlings. Five years later their farms are viable. They have a cash crop that will help them to rise out of poverty. Additionally, 10% of the profits from this coffee to Kinini's charity in Musenyi that helps to improve the lives of the villagers and the most vulnerable orphans and widows.

Amazing Rwanda!

We love this coffee. True to the flavor of rich Black Tea and Graham Cracker....and oh so tasty!!

It’s a winner.

Roasted to Full City, this coffee has a bright and pleasant acidity. Surprisingly fruity with accents of berries and a slight citrus like pucker. Similar to an unripe orange. As the cup cools the tea like attributes of this coffee really start to come through. Very similar in character to Burundi coffee. Black tea notes and a very distinctive graham cracker flavor in the aftertaste. This is my first taste of Rwandan coffee and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. Mild bodied and not anything earthy as a Kenyan but fruity and complex all the same.
