Located in a biological Conservation Corridor, Valle del Cauca lies between the National Park of Tatama and "serrania de los paraguas". Some years ago, this region was identified by Conservation International as one of the two main conservation corridors in Colombia.
Farmers in this region are strongly aware of the importance of the preservation of natural resources, water management and friendly environmental practices. Valle del Cauca was once a prominent producer of coffee, but much of the land is now dedicated to producing sugar cane.
This coffee was decaffeinated using the Sugarcane Process. The process uses ethyl acetate - an organic compound found in sugar cane - to remove 97% of the caffeine from coffee beans. The process tends to leave a pleasant, sweet flavor.

A real treat to drink.
by Andrew Coe
This is a very versatile and tasty decaf! We serve it as espresso or aeropress at our cafe, but I have also brewed using a variety of pourovers, chemex, and french press and it does well in all applications.
It has a very nice sweet flavor profile and some nice juiciness. As espresso, it doesn't even taste like a decaf. Definitely a crowd pleaser.
A warning: My own decaf consumption has increased considerably, I now drink at least one cup a night.

This decaf is definitely a crowd pleaser! I’ve actually got some of my morning crowd coming in after work for this decaf. Might try it as an espresso! Thanks for stocking this coffee GO!
Very nice profile and blends well

Our customers like the taste profile as is, but we have also blended it 75/25 with the water process decaf from GO. It's a solid decaf for a very reasonable price.
