This is a blend of coffees that were selected from various smallholders, estates and cooperative groups in northern Tanzania. These coffees were grown in regions around national parks and along the ridges of Africa's highest mountain. These northern regions of Tanzania are best known as being home to some of the world's most incredible wildlife and the famous Maasai tribe. But they're also home to some of the earliest-planted coffee trees in Tanzania and some of the best coffees the country has to offer.
