Uganda Green Coffee Beans

Uganda, often called the Pearl of Africa, is poised to become the continent’s largest exporter of coffee. Nestled at the heart of East Africa, Uganda sits astride the equator and benefits from high altitudes, a bi-modal rainfall pattern, and a temperate year-round climate—ideal conditions for growing both Arabica and Robusta coffee.

As the birthplace of Robusta, Uganda has a long and proud coffee tradition. Today, it’s emerging as a rising star in specialty Arabica as well, thanks in part to selective picking and processing.

Genuine Origin’s parent company has invested in Uganda’s coffee sector since 2007. Our Farmer Support teams are known across the country for their hands-on training, post-harvest guidance, and commitment to quality. Our team is building washing stations and receiving stations to streamline the delivery of ripe red cherries and ensure quality from the ground up.
