Our Bududa coffee comes from the Bududa District of Mt. Elgon in the Eastern highlands of Uganda, on the border with Kenya. The Bududa Farmer Group consists 43 UTZ certified farmer groups; the average farm size is just 2.3 ha. All coffee is hand-picked and processed on the day of harvest. After pulping with a hand-pulper, the coffee is fermented overnight in small basins. The next morning the coffee is washed and put on raised drying trays for drip drying for 2-3 days and then sun-dried on tarpaulins.

Complex, fun coffee

by -

Was pleasantly surprised at the depth of flavor in this coffee, it has a plethora of notes and it morphs after roasting from a very lemon citrous profile in light roast to just a gentle acidity and nice finish. We're favoring the darker roasts though. Will try it in some espresso blends.

Great coffee...great price!

Delicious! Lot's of chocolate...especially at Full City and Full City +. The price is right also. We use this in one of our blends and it tastes fantastic

Great coffee!

Chocolatey and earthy. Subtle fruit notes in lighter roasts but in my opinion really shines in a medium/dark or dark roast. Buttery and mysterious dark finish that lingers. Medium bodied but cuts very well in blends.
